The Washington Post has a great piece memorializing genius designer Yves Saint Laurent.  Visionary of the pant suit for women (btw why don’t they call them pant suits for men? A suit is a suit, right?) passed away in his Paris home.  I remember being a fresh faced 20 year old wandering Paris and happening by his Paris digs.  I remember loving the couture, imagining myself out of my American jeans and sneakers and into a fashionable dress and heels not appropriate for walking on cobblestones.  J’adore Paris et la haute couture.
